Kugel, Yerushalmi Type

Ingredients:

4 1/2 cups water -- 1 cup sugar -- 1/2 teaspoon pepper -- 2 teaspoons salt -- 1/2 stick margarine -- 3 tablespoons oil -- 3 tablespoons brown sugar

(1) Put all above ingredients into large pot. Bring ingredients to boil.

(2) Turn off flame (flame will remain off until kugel goes into oven). Add 16 ounces fine egg noodles to pot. Let mixture sit (covered) 15-20 minutes.

(3) Beat 2 eggs Add eggs to pot. Mix thoroughly. Again, let sit 15-20 minutes.

(4) Pour mixture into pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
